Social Media Blues

Scott Rodgers, Senior Creative Director

Working as a “creative” in this industry, I think it’s important to take a moment every now and then for yourself. To get away from the strategy and the trends and the buzzwords – to recharge your batteries by doing something creative simply for the sake of being creative.

I really believe that.

And that’s precisely what I aimed to do when I set out to write and record a new song for an agency music CD we were producing.

Guess you can only disconnect so much from this business after all… but still, it was fun!

    HI Scott
I stumbled upon your ‘ditty’ on YouTube – and love, love, love it and have been spreading it around…and it has brought a smile to lots of people :) I do have a (perhaps impertinent) question; What is the font you’ved used in the slides? I saw it some where else awhile ago and have been trying to find its name… with no success.
    Thanks Scott
    Cheers

Fiona, glad you liked the song, it was a blast to put together. The video itself I did quickly in iMovie and I believe the font was bundled with the app. It’s called “Coolvetica” …not sure the actual font is commercially available, but you can find a very similar one here (for free):

Thanks for checking out the video! -Scott
